Good news: a deal has been worked out so that Shasta Groene will not be cross-examined by Joseph Duncan after all. Instead her previous taped interviews will be admissible. It is also becoming clear that Duncan’s motive for “defending” himself is suicide-by-court: He has not planned to introduce any mitigating evidence.
