		<description>Back here we&#039;ve never thought of California as a place for thinking of any sort. As it was ably maintained above, a confluence of disparate and contradictory inclinations has enslaved California for some time now. Thinking won&#039;t change a thing. People only learn from real pain. California (among others) have long embraced the goal of &quot;Life without Consequences,&quot; but &#039;consequences&#039; are the sine qua non of lives made of choices. It shouldn&#039;t come as much of a surprise that when people are given choices they most often choose badly.</description>
