The two solutions I&#039;ve heard most often suggested sound stupid. Let&#039;s put reflective material in the clouds to reflect the suns energy. Stupid!
  The suns rays create photosynthesis in the flora and thus reduce c02 from the air. Certainly a self defeating proposition at best, worst some other side effect does more harm. 

The reflective blanket stretched out over the ice caps. The most productive waters in the world are there and they need sunlight to maintain any resemblence of an eco-system. Photo generated plants grow beneath the ice and would be destroyed in those areas. Even glaciers are full of life.

I&#039;m not saying our carbon output didn&#039;t effect the climate, only that each time man tries to manipulate mother nature (I.e. introducing feral animals to control a pest) he is out of his league. What especially frightens me, are those who respond so emotionally, that what is obviously stupid sounds good to them.]]></description>
